A burst water main in Brisbane’s CBD is causing a headache for motorists on Monday morning.
The water main burst at George Street between Mary and Margaret streets overnight, with water turned off to the area just after 1am, according to Queensland Urban Utilities.
One lane in George Street was closed, causing traffic delays.
Repairs were under way at the site and it was estimated the water main would be restored by 11am.
Meanwhile, a lane closure at the end of the Margaret Street off-ramp from the Riverside Expressway was causing traffic delays back to Mount Gravatt on the M3.
